Great theatrical & cinematic appearance, horrible historians and their "history"
At first glimpse, the production of this documentary is amazing visually. But when I go through the episodes, I wonder whether I am watching a serious Japanese historical documentary, or just some eastern fantasy stereotypes in some westerners' heads. Can we have some real Japanese historians to talk in this show? All those westerners are speaking like fun-boys from ninja or samurai fun club in American high school, not scholarly quality presented in their speech.score 5/10
