Stale version of abc's mixed-ish
I was really excited for this show because I've watched Kenan since his time Nickelodeon and I liked the idea of watching a father hold down his family after a tragedy, but this show was terrible. Chris Redd basically plays the same characters that he does on SNL and the show reminded me of a light version of abc's show mixed-ish (the single funny uncle, sassy little girl, white wisecracking father in law, and mixed children). While I know that sometimes it can take a few episodes to get better, this was so bad that it would be a waste of time watching it, and that's saying something since a lot of us are stuck at home due to COVID.score 1/10
