Intriguing Story of Strength and Courage
The Lady & the Dale was an awesome doc series. I fully enjoyed it on almost every level. It told the story of a trans women who never gave up. She was inspiring; showing others what it means to face the corruption of this world while continuing to believe in yourself. It was horrific the things that she endured, but all the while so encouraging how she managed to persist the many challenges and keep her family together. Love defines our character in the end and that quality in her definitely shows through in her persona regardless to what mistakes she may have made on her journey. Those snags should not remain her legacy. It is a travesty what she went through and really shows the ignorance in society, especially during that time frame. She was beyond intelligent and courageous, an amazing example of resilience & perserverance. I admire that immensely; I absolutely loved this story. 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!! Movie rated a 7.5 for me. ????14721
