A fond memory
If you were too young to realize that The Beatles were the real thing, you probably thought The Monkees were the greatest groundbreaking pop group in the world in 1966. Every week, they'd enter your living room,make you laugh for 30 minutes and play you 2 songs from their current lp. A TV show that was essentially little more than a half hour commercial to sell records. A great formula considering the success of MTV decades later. Loads of fun and some pretty good music, too.score /10
