Not a fan.
I love home cooking shows, but this one is not my favorite. Ree is way too scripted and robotic, she doesn't look comfortable and she isn't relatable (like Valerie Bertinelli, for example). She makes the same style dishes over and over (burgers, casseroles, etc) and there isn't any substance. She doesn't change it up much or think out of the box for her recipes. It's getting old watching freezer meals every other day. If you are a beginner and need some ideas, sure, this is a good way to get some. I just wish she was a little more loose with the audience and didn't read a script when she's speaking to us. And I wish she would make more family friendly meals that aren't your everyday Tex-mex, pasta, etc.... just my opinion. She is very friendly and has attainable recipes but it's very repetitive and staged.score 4/10
