Timing might be an issue
The timing of the release of Bling Empire might make some eyebrows rise. Releasing the series during a worldwide pandemic might seem to some as being tone-deaf. If we start judging shows because we disagree with the timing of the release, we could be here all night. I've chosen just to take the show at face value and look for some lightweight fluff.The cast is a group of unbelievably wealthy (except for Kevin) Asians. Like all first seasons of any reality show, we're mostly here to learn who these people are and where they fit within their group. It reminds me of an early season of a Real Housewives show before they all started getting more and more fake. I've given those shows the boot.
If you're just looking for a show that'll take your mind off the real world, give Bling Empire a try. It's light. It's fun. And I need that after the devastating real life events unfolding right now.
