Best show I've ever found on Netflix
Not for everyone but it's right up my alley. The weird tone may be hard for some to adjust to, I think it's a perfect blend though, the cast all deliver fantastic performances and the chemistry between them is just so ripe.
The show doesn't shy away from dark or risqué topics like depression and suicide, although, speaking as someone who used to battle depression and was frequently attempting suicide; I think they handled it quite well, mature approach, a lot of believability and actually manages to find some well-placed comedy out of it.
This has genuinely got to be the best black comedy I've ever seen, I've seen many attempts at black comedy that were neither dark nor funny, or shows that could only pull off dark comedy in bouts, I mean I don't agree with people who call Seinfeld or It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia black comedies, they're decent enough shows but they're not black comedies. This show has a perfect handling of both depression and abstract hilarity and blends them seamlessly, everything is so naturally flowing and it's definitely the best thing I've ever seen on Netflix
