Doesn't break new ground

A lot of negative reviews for the 'new presenter' Paul but he was the original presenter and Raphael the replacement.

It's hard to get an honest look at what goes on when there's a camera and crew in plain sight. Being under the microscope alters the behaviour of a person as they strive to show you their good side.

Nothing here that we haven't seen before and most of the juicy stuff is hearsay and never shown on camera.

There are some heartfelt moments such as the Mexican murderer and robber who reveal a more humane side as fine goes on but in the main you get the feeling that these prisoners are mostly decent chaps who are victims of circumstance.

One unintentionally hilarious moment when Paul tells a depressed and dejected inmate locked up in solitary for attempted suicide to 'take care of yourself' as a farewell.

score 6/10
