Pure comic genius.
This is undoubtedly the most original program for years. Not since the original SNL cast skits, Monty Python, League of Gentlemen has anything this outrageously creative come to pass. Surpasses Trailer Park Boys by far. Some of the jokes are very transparent, but, hey they had a time slot to fill--then there were the drugs! The various characters are brilliant, and Smith finally gets to shine.Additionally, Maury Chaykin ("call me Potatoes, Potatoes O'Brien") in his final role, apparently being smuggled out of the hospital for the final scenes, then returned to the hospital where he passed away from terminal cancer the following day.
Genius, pure comic genius! But, if you haven't the slightest fondness of slap-stick, you may not enjoy this much. I'm puzzled why this is described as having 2 episodes when there are 6.
I hope we see something more from the Boys, it's been a while. Cheers 10 out of 10.
