Ted Danson at his best
'Becker' was, in my opinion, one of the funniest shows to hit TV in the past 10 years. Instead of being a show of a bunch of people living in an apartment building and having the time of their lives, 'Becker' portrays life how it mostly is. Instead of the show being focused around home and friends, Becker is focused around work and his two employees that work for him and his favorite diner.Ted Danson is brilliant as the rude doctor. He's smart, spiteful, and when these two qualities are mixed, absolutely hilarious. Terry Farrell is able to hold her own with Danson and make a great pair to listen to argue. The actor that completes the comedy is John Becker's loyal friend but annoyed friend of Jake (Alex Desert) who is blind and always bring it up as a joke.
The show is hilarious. It is never too goofy, too unbelievable, and relates to anyone having a bad day. Try to catch the old episodes before Nancy Travis came in as the fill-in for Terry Farrell. Just sit back after a hard day's work and watch someone else have a bad day and laugh yourself silly in the process.
Becker. Starring: Ted Danson, Terry Farrell, Hattie Winston, Shawnee Smith, and Alex Desert.
