So Much Potential

I have been watching novelas for a long time. That being said I always do my best to start one with an open mind. Rosa Diamante was just disappointing, starting with the main actor (Jose Ignacio) in the first episode alone, you grow to highly dislike him. Then you have Rosa, the main actress -- She's difficult to root for. Her acting is... terrible. Lol. During moments of "despair" she forces every scene. It's almost comedic, like in between takes they needed to throw fake tears in her eyes.. some of the characters are charming (ok maybe just Claudia Ramirez & Sofia Lama). You question why she'd fall in love with Jose Ignacio when his brother is better looking and ahem, not an a**hole?? Everyone threatens one another with death literally in every episode. There's very little to no depth. I gave it a chance and DNF mid way. Instead of rooting for the main characters you find yourself disliking them.
Maybe in the future this novela will get revamped with new actors, plots -- if that happens, I will give it another chance.

score 3/10
