Different (in a good way)

This is a very interesting show depicting several different power struggles among and between groups. There is an element of the supernatural but it isn't overbearing.

By far the most interesting thing going on here is the setting. So many shows take place in LA or somewhere that looks similar to LA and seeing a show Appalachia is refreshing, and the show uses its setting very well. There's not a single moment where you forget where you are as a viewer. The lighting is different, the people are different, the landscape is different.

This gets a 10/10 from me because it is totally unlike anything else on TV right now and I want to see where the story leads.

score 10/10
